Product Description
In this eager search of the Synagogue for a means of expiation we get a glimpse into the heart of Israel, which enables us to see how great a void they felt after the destruction of the Temple. Their heart could not be satisfied with the one or two means of expiation discovered by the Rabbis, and this is why they searched out so many means; and yet, in spite of the many means, they have never been able to obtain assurance of salvation, and real peace and hope, based upon such assurance.
